it is july 1st already!!!!
here is some of my garden as of today.....the past week has flown and i have been busy with school work for my grad class. i have four more days. and i think i only have one more class for my 24 hours required by the state for my license. i am talking to my advisor.
and the world...WOW. iran...iraq....honduras....and our government....WOW....what is coming? in between assignments and the garden and the bills and the house i read 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy...what an interesting book ~ about a father and son and the destruction that has come to the earth and their journey to the south....how sad the perspective of human nature in this book. very interesting. i also read 'my sister's keeper' and am reading InkSpell which is in the Inkheart series. i am trying to get as much in as i can. plus i reread some classics in the summer ~ this summer it is 'Hinds Feet on High Places' and i need to find my copy of 'Christy'.
school for me begins on August 12th...but our health tech picnic for new junior students is on August 5th...so i need to have my class room ready by then...which is 4.5 weeks from today....WHERE DID THE SUMMER GO??? did i have a summer? and today on july 1st it is cloudy and 60 degrees here. the local news reported about fungus on tomatoes and potatoes because of the weather we have had. but i have been picking japanese beetles off of my asparagus and flowers...grrrrrrrr.
i have been thinking about words lately...dependence. trust. need. abandonment. i will see what happens....
